Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar all score for Barcelona in first half against Leganes

LIONEL MESSI, Luis Suarez and Neymar made history after all scoring for sensational Barcelona in a first-half drubbing of La Liga newboys Leganes.

This was the first time football’s most fearsome attack had all scored in the first half – and even better they all assisted each other!

The defending La Liga champions smashed Celtic 7-0 midweek but were still rocking on the domestic front after a dismal 2-1 loss at home to Alaves.

That looked a distant memory, though, in today’s early kick-off as football’s most fearsome attack hit top gear.

It was Messi who struck first, collecting a pass from Suarez to knock in from close range on the quarter-hour mark.

The Argentine then turned supplier with some trickery leaving the Leganes defence flummoxed.

Ghosting into the box he drew the keeper in before dragging a square ball for Suarez to roll in unopposed. 2-0.

Feeling a little left out, the Brazilian then got in on the act.

But again it started with Messi, his chipped through ball finding an on-rushing Suarez.

He could have gone it alone but instead found Neymar on the left and it was another simple finish.

Barcelona, 3-0 up at half-time, are out of sight and look to have rediscovered their devastating domestic form.
