Liverpool cancel pre-season friendly with Borussia Monchengladbach following their pursuit over Rhian Brewster

BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH’S pursuit of Rhian Brewster has led Liverpool to cancel a pre-season friendly with the Germans.

The 18-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to join the Bundesliga club, but the Reds believe they have made an illegal approach for the striker.
