LIVERPOOL may have to turn their attentions elsewhere after Brazil legend Cafu revealed keeper Alisson is off to Real Madrid.
Jurgen Klopp is wasting no time finding a new No1 following Loris Karius’ Champions League horror show.
The German gaffer had Alisson at the top of his transfer shortlist and the club have reportedly made contact with Roma over the 25-year-old’s availability.
A bid has yet to be lodged but Roma know competition for his signature is rife and are demanding in the region of £79million.
Real Madrid are another side keeping tabs on Alisson as they aim to replace Keylor Navas.
And it appears the Spanish side have got one over Liverpool yet again according to ex-Roma player Cafu.
In a video leaked online he said: “Yes, for me yes, definitely, Alisson will go from Roma to Real Madrid.”
Real Madrid initially wanted David de Gea but know their chances of luring him away from Manchester United are slim.

The revelation could mean that Liverpool will instead opt for Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen.
The ex-Ajax man wants to leave the Nou Camp this summer having made just two starts in both La Liga and the Champions League.
Liverpool have already bolstered their squad ahead of next season with the signings of midfield pair Naby Keita and Fabinho.
