LIVERPOOL have made no offer for keeper Alisson, according to Roma chief Monchi.
The Brazil No1 has been linked with a move to Anfield following Loris Karius’ Champions League nightmare in Kiev.
But Roma’s director of football said: “In order for a player to leave, there have to be three elements in place – an offer, a yes from the club and from the player.
“As of today, we have nothing of the sort.”
Liverpool are said to be weighing up a £60million bid for Alisson, 25.
Though they may find it tough to prise the stopper – who has three years left on his current deal – away from Roma’s grasp.
Monchi added: “We are happy to keep him. Transfer rumours are normal at this stage.”
Karius, 24, gave away two goals in Liverpool’s 3-1 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid on Saturday.
He rolled the ball directly at Karim Benzema for him to open the scoring and flapped at a Gareth Bale shot, causing it to rebound into the net.
Police will investigate death threats made against the German after he was targeted by vile trolls.
