Jurgen Klopp’s side were dealt a sore blow on Saturday when star forward Sadio Mane limped off against Everton at the weekend.

The Senegalese star could be set to miss the season and joins Adam Lallana, Daniel Sturridge, Jordan Henderson, Danny Ings and Ovie Ejaria on the treatment table.

Mane is certain to miss the game against Bournemouth, with the swelling still too much even for doctors to assess the extent of the damage.

English quartet Henderson, Lallana, Ings and Ejaria will also not suit up for the game.
