CHAMPIONS Manchester City believe they have finally signed Riyad Mahrez for £65million.
Pep Guardiola’s City had two bids turned down for the Leicester winger, 27, in January.
But the Etihad club are confident Mahrez will be their first signing of the summer, while they also close in on 26-year-old Jorginho from Napoli.
The Italians are holding out for £60m but City are only prepared to pay half that fee for the Brazilian-born midfielder.
Jorginho has been a standout player for Napoli this season, netting four times in 37 games in all competitions, as well as chalking up four assists.
The Italian international could replace Yaya Youre at the Etihad, with the Ivorian’s contract set to expire in the summer.
But it is Mahrez who Guardiola is desperate to bring in, with the Algerian international enjoying yet another impressive season.
In 40 matches this campaign, he has banged in 12 goals as well as providing 11 assists for his team-mates.

It was reported the ex-Le Havre ace favoured a move to Arsenal over City, with the player believed to be keen on living in London.
Mahrez netted against the Gunners in a 3-1 win on Wednesday in what could be his last game at the King Power Stadium.
