MANCHESTER CITY star John Stones showed off his mystery leg tattoos last night.
Some artwork was spotted above his left knee during City’s 3-2 Carabao Cup semi-final win at Bristol City.
The former Barnsley defender already has what is believed to be a design of Tykes legend Norman Rimmington inked onto his left leg.
But there are three more faces on the outer side of Stones’ left leg surrounded by an incomplete pattern of roses.
The tattoos were, in fact, done between City’s wins over Shakhtar Donetsk on September 26 and Chelsea four days later.
Only time will tell who Stones, 23, has honoured with the space above his knee.
The England ace had a massive picture of long-term girlfriend Millie Savage – with a clock worked around her chin – tattooed on arm in December 2016.
Stones struggled in his first season at City following his £47.5million transfer from Everton two years ago.
BABY GOT BACK Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s back tattoo is one of a kind… but can you work out who else has stunning artwork?
He hinted that “personal issues” off the field was one reason and the tattoo on his left arm – “love you always” – hints at what they were.
Stones said: “I had a lot of problems outside of football and everyone’s going to make mistakes. I know that.

“I will be the first person to own up to that, and that’s how I can grow as a player.
“Things can get taken out of context sometimes, that I wasn’t happy.
“But I was always enjoying my football and I always gave 100 per cent for everyone.”
When Rimmington died at the age of 90 in 2016, Stones was quick to pay tribute.
Despite rarely posting anything not City or England related to social media, he wrote: “Such sad news today about Norman Rimmington.
“A true gentleman, friend and legend has left us. You’ll be dearly missed. RIP Rimmo.”
