TWO teams at the opposite ends of the table and with massive points to prove.
Manchester City managed just one point from trips to Arsenal and Chelsea and, while generally considered to the better team on both occasions, Pep Guardiola’s men fluffed their lines in front of goal.
Hull, meanwhile, have managed to haul themselves out of the relegation zone with successive home victories over West Ham and Middlesbrough.

But there lies the rub: the Tigers have won only once away from home all season and that was at Swansea back in August.
Now it looks as though it will be Marco Silva’s men or the Swans joining relegation favourites Sunderland and Middlesbrough in the Championship for 2017/18.
So a timely away win would be vital.

Manchester City, of course, will want to repair the damage of their trips to London, having dropped to fourth place as a result of their failings in the capital.
Silva has proved a master tactician since succeeding Mike Phelan but he’ll need a bit of luck, or a dreadful display from the home team, to pull this one off.
As Silva said after beating Boro 4-2: “There are still many things that we have to work on as a team but I am happy with our progress.
“We now need to do more because nothing finishes because of this win. It was a very important three points, but we have to continue to fight until the end of the season.”

On Boxing Day Hull held out for 73 minutes before Yaya Toure’s penalty, plus goals from Kelechi Iheanacho and a Curtis Davies own goal, sent Man City second with a 3-0 win.
SunSport score prediction
You'd have to expect Hull to improve on their chronic away form sometime soon but facing City at The Etihad may be a bridge too far with the home side so eager to cement a Champions League place.
