Maddison, 21, has fired 15 goals for his Championship club this season.

The playmaker has been a revelation this season and that follows on from a strong six-month spell in the last campaign at Aberdeen.

His most famous moment for the Pittodrie was scoring the winner in the 2-1 win against Rangers with an incredible free-kick.

Maddison was named Norwich’s Player of the Year and was also included in the Championship team of the Year.

Norwich have to look carefully at their purse strings this summer as parachute payments run out.

So, too, could in-form winger Josh Murphy, 23, who has fired 11 goals this season.

Murphy has several Premier League teams on his radar including Swansea City, Leicester City and Crystal Palace.
