Most striking was Kelechi Iheanacho, whose combination of beanie hat and blue and white coloured snood meant just his eyes were sticking out.

Gael Clichy bravely wore shorts while most others, including local lad John Stones, opted for leggings as they trained.

Meanwhile the likes of Fernandinho, Ilkay Gundogan and captain Vincent Kompany all donned the same hat and snood combo, while Leroy Sane looked visibly upset by just how cold it was.

Kompany recently got into the Christmas theme, wearing Manchester City branded jumpers along with Guardiola and Kevin De Bruyne.

The Belgian has had more injury woes this season, but should be fit for the match at Selhurst Park against lowly Palace.
