Manchester City vs Basel analysis

Not many people are giving Basel much of a chance in their round of 16 tie against Man City.

The Swiss side, who’ve won their domestic league for the last eight years, have never made it past the round of 16 in the Champions League.

And they’ve certainly got a tough ask against Pep Guardiola’s City who look to romping their way to the Premier League crown.

But Basel did manage to beat Manchester United in the group stages of this year’s competition.

And they do get the chance to put the pressure on City as they host the first leg at their raucous home stadium.
