FOOTIE legend Denis Law was rushed to hospital after collapsing on his way to a holiday with his wife.
The Manchester United hero and missus Diana, both cancer survivors, were about to jet off to Menorca on Saturday.
But seconds before leaving Manchester Airport, the 76-year-old said: “I don’t feel well” and blacked out in front of other passengers.
He was taken to Trafford General Hospital, but later got the all-clear.
Doctors put the incident down to a vasovagal condition — where sufferers faint unexpectedly — and sent him home.
Last night Law, who starred for Utd from 1962 to 1973, was in high spirits at his home in Altrincham.
He told The Sun: “I went white and did not feel well at all. The next thing I collapsed while in my seat.
“I feel better now, but I’m having tests as it’s happened a few times in the past few years.
“It’s not pleasant, one time I thought I’d snuffed it.
“Hopefully I’ll be able to join the holiday soon.”

Law added: “I felt foolish when I came round on the plane. I just conked out. There were nine of us on the plane.
“It was a nightmare and it’s worrying.
“We’d get up at 4.30am for the flight so that probably didn’t help.
“It just happened so quick but I feel a lot better now.”
Law, United’s third top scorer with 237 goals, had a successful prostate cancer operation in 2003.
He has become a passionate ambassador for men’s health campaigns.
Just three years later, wife Diana revealed she was suffering from incurable stomach cancer.
