Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs makes sensation football comeback in Indian futsal league alongside global greats

MANCHESTER UNITED legend Ryan Giggs has made his debut in Indian Premier Futsal.

The Old Trafford icon left his boyhood club this summer after Jose Mourinho was handed the manager’s job ahead of him and he has moved to India with former team-mate Paul Scholes for the new division.

Brazilian star Ronaldinho and former Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo have also signed up for the event in Chennai.

On Wednesday the tournament organisers tweeted:  "History waiting to be written! Ryan Giggs, Ronaldinho and Crespo are now part of the Premier Futsal family!"

Giggs is the marquee signing and main man for Mumbai with old friend and Class of ’92 star Paul Scholes leading Bangalore.
