Manchester United news: It seems Bastian Schweinsteiger is well and truly back in the fold as he wears branded Manchester United trainers

GERMAN star Bastian Schweinsteiger was an outcast just a few weeks ago at Manchester United.

But now he appears to be the life and soul of the party in bizarre branded footwear as the squad headed down to London for their tie against Crystal Palace tomorrow night.

Schweinsteiger is back in the first team squad after a period exile following the arrival of new manager Jose Mourinho.

And despite being snubbed by Mourinho as rumours persist that that he will leave the club in January and head to the US, he was a company man all the way down to the footwear today.

He was wearing official club branded trainers bearing Manchester United’s logo – the only member of the team to do so.

The Germany World Cup winner was the life and soul of the party, sharing jokes with teammates Phil Jones and Michael Carrick on the platform at Stockport station where they caught their train.

He made his first appearance for Manchester United this season as late substitute in win over West Ham, helping to set up a goal.

But Schweinsteiger is likely to be on the bench for the match against Palace and possibly wont even get on the pitch.
