But now he appears to be the life and soul of the party in bizarre branded footwear as the squad headed down to London for their tie against Crystal Palace tomorrow night.

Schweinsteiger is back in the first team squad after a period exile following the arrival of new manager Jose Mourinho.
And despite being snubbed by Mourinho as rumours persist that that he will leave the club in January and head to the US, he was a company man all the way down to the footwear today.
