HENRIKH MKHITARYAN has added even more intrigue to his continued absence from the Manchester United first-team, by declaring: “Better days will come for us.”
Red Devils fans have been increasingly angry as the £26million Armenian has been left out of the squad for the last few matches, with United struggling in front of goal.
Mkhitaryan scored 18 times for Borussia Dortmund last season – and was the stand-out creative player in the Bundesliga.

But the Stretford End faithful have become increasingly puzzled as to why Jose Mourinho has left the 27-year-old out of the first-team set-up.
Mkhitaryan has had injuries this season, but has not played since United were beaten 2-1 by rivals Manchester City on September 10.
And after yesterday’s frustrating 0-0 draw at home to Burnley, United fans were left wondering why Mourinho had again left out a creative force.
He was spotted in a shirt and tie alongside Anthony Martial, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Eric Bailly in the director’s box as United failed to fire themselves past Sean Dyche’s Clarets.
He was later joined by Mourinho, who was sent to the stands.

Mkhitaryan even added to the mystery surrounding his absence, posting a picture on Instagram from outside Old Trafford.
He said: "Better days will come for us! We march on. One for all and all for one!"
Mourinho appeared to clear up why Mkhitaryan has not been involved in the first team since early September, admitting that he is 'fit' but not 'fit for the Premier League.
The Portuguese said on Friday: "'Fit' - sometimes you have the view 'fit' is if you are not injured, and sometimes 'fit' is if you are in great condition and ready to compete.
"That a different thing for me, in Portuguese we use different words for the different situations.
"Mkhitaryan is not injured, Mkhitaryan is training with the team 100 per cent.
"Some players, with their profile they are adapted to come and play, some others they need more time.
"Time to feel the intensity and the aggression, the game without the ball, the competitiveness.
"Many times players come from different countries. The style of football is different and the reality is different for sure in terms of competitiveness.
"There’s no other country where it doesn’t matter the team you play against, you have to play at the highest level. If you don’t you have no chance. Mikhi needs time to become the top player he can be."
