Manchester United transfer news: Marko Arnautovic says it’s ‘nice’ to be linked with £50million Old Trafford move

MARKO ARNAUTOVIC has revealed it feels “nice” to be linked with a £50million move to Manchester United this summer.

The West Ham star, 29, stayed tight-lipped regarding the rumours of a move to Jose Mourinho’s men but seemed flattered just to be talked of.

The former Stoke man is a surprise name to be linked having only joined the Hammers last summer on a five-year deal.

But speaking on the persistent rumours, Arnautovic said: “It’s nice to hear.

“I’ve not heard anything from my brother, my agent.

“You can keep asking this question, you’ll never hear the answer from me.”

Meanwhile, Mourinho has had his say on the potential move for Hammers star Arnautovic, claiming no contact has yet been made.

The United boss revealed: “He was on holiday, he told you. I haven’t spoken to him, he was on holidays.”

MARK II Everton want Marko Arnautovic as Marco Silva targets West Ham star to kickstart Toffees revolution

Elsewhere, Everton are chasing Arnautovic as Marco Silva targets the Hammers star to kickstart his Toffees revolution.

That is more than double the figure West Ham paid for Arnautovic last summer, but it would not faze the Merseysiders who are backed by wealthy owner Farhad Moshiri.
