Marcus Rashford backed to lead England’s World Cup charge in 2018 by Miss BumBum Suzy Cortez


MISS BUMBUM is backing the “great” Marcus Rashford to fire England into the business end of the World Cup.

Suzy Cortez, who won Brazil’s coveted Miss BumBum competition in 2015, has been named Russia’s “muse” for the 2018 tournament.

But the Samba-born stunner reckons the Three Lions could be the team to watch – with Manchester United striker Rashford, 19, driving them forward in Russia.

Suzy gushed: “With the great Rashford of Manchester United I think England will go far.”

As well as England, the Playboy model is routing for Russia, who she has already represented in an ambassadorial role in 2014.

In a steamy bodypaint photoshoot showing off the official mascot for the 2018 World Cup – Zabivaka the wolf, whose name appears as ‘Bonk’ in English – Suzy revealed the icon will prove to be “lucky” for the hosts.

She said: “Zabivaka is the best mascot in the World Cup. He is beautiful.

“And [he will] come very lucky for Russia, for sure.”

Suzy added: “[It has been] amazing representing this lovely mascot for me.”

Suzy, who in September put London managers on red alert by admitting she was looking to join a football club in the capital, is hoping to be involved in sport in her home country.

The Queen of Curves hopes to secure a role as a TV host in Brazil.

Suzy is also in talks over a television deal during next year’s Confederations Cup in Russia.
