MESUT OZIL has dropped a huge hint he WILL remain at Arsenal after liking a post on Instagram asking him to ‘stay forever’.

The German playmaker, 28, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation this season, as he has stalled on signing a new contract.

Now Ozil has suggested he will be staying put at the Emirates, having joined the club back in 2013.

However, one fan couldn’t bear to stand idly by while Ozil contemplates his future, commenting on a post, saying: “I love you. Stay at Arsenal forever.”

Much to the social media user – and Gunners fans alike – Ozil ‘liked’ the comment, with many suggesting that’s a hint he will be staying in north London.

The German is just one star to be embroiled in speculation surrounding their future at the club.

As well as Ozil, both Arsene Wenger and Alexis Sanchez have been tipped to leave, with the French boss actively being forced out by a handful of fans.

Sanchez meanwhile has famously fallen out with Wenger this season, while also pulling a number of on-field tantrums this term.

While Ozil has been widely slated for 'going missing' in the big games this season, his passing in the opposing half is crucial to all of Arsenal's attacking play.

The Gunners have been on a tear recently, beating both Manchester United and Southampton 2-0 in back-to-back games as they keep up the pressure on the top four.
