Michael Bisping calls out Georges St-Pierre after verbally agreeing UFC 206 superfight
UFC 206 could be set for a big-name addition to the fight card, if UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping gets his way.
The brash Brit, who captured UFC middleweight gold against Luke Rockhold at UFC 199, then successfully defended it in Manchester at UFC 204, says he has “verbally agreed” to face UFC all-time great Georges St-Pierre.
‘The Count’ has made no secret of the fact he’s been in discussions with the UFC over the potential bout, and has taken to social media in an attempt to convince the former welterweight world champion to return to action on December 10.

@GeorgesStPierre, we all want more money. But let's go,sign the papers.Give the people of Toronto what they want, be a hero! Let's go champ!
In a post on Twitter, Bisping said: “@GeorgesStPierre, we all want more money. But let’s go, sign the papers. Give the people of Toronto what they want, be a hero! Let’s go champ!”
And the Brit expanded on his comments when quizzed by fans, saying he’d been offered the fight by UFC president Dana White and had verbally accepted the bout.

But it would appear there’s still some negotiating to do before we see Bisping and St-Pierre in the Octagon together, as the Canadian explained in a Twitter video message to the Brit on Wednesday night.
Bisping responded with a message of support for his Canadian colleague, tweeting “Hope you guys figure it out. It’s a shame for Canadians not to have you on the card. I’m here, keep me posted!”
