Baros, 34, netted from close range – his first goal in Europe since scoring for Galatasary in 2010/11.

He reacted quickest to beat Sehić from close range with a left-footed effort after the Qarabag keeper could only parry Vuch‘s dipping volley into his path.

The Czech Republic player, a veteran of 93 international and 41 goals for his country, is back playing in his homeland after playing for several clubs on the continent since leaving Portsmouth in 2008.

The final match of Baros’ loan spell was the 2008 FA Cup Final victory over Cardiff City at Wembley, where he appeared as an 87th-minute substitute for match-winner Kanu.
