Jackson said his biggest regret was ever getting into MMA[/caption]
Speaking to ESPN earlier this week, Jackson explained the downside of his fame.
He said: “I would have to honestly say that my biggest regret is even starting this sport.
“Since I’ve been a fighter, I’ve been screwed out of a million dollars by managers and people pretending to be friends.
“When I was champion, I had a lot of fake friends, and as soon as I lost the belt, where did they go?
“My family, they’re always there. They tell me they miss me, and they’re proud of me.”

He added: “So I just wish I would have stayed home in Memphis and been with my family – the people who are like me.
“People don’t understand me. They don’t know why I am the way that I am.
“They don’t know why I joke around so much.
“People always assume something that I’m something different, that I’m not.
“They assume that I’m bragging or boasting.
“My family understands me, because they like me, and I just miss them.”
Jackson also said that he’s have been happier if he’d have had been a “construction worker” in his hometown.
He is set to face long-time rival King Mo in Los Angeles on Friday night.
The pair have a long history with the pair engaging in hilarious trash talk at a supermarket in 2009 before Jackson beat him in 2014.
“I respect all the fighters,” said Rampage.
“But sometimes King Mo’s mouth gets him in trouble, and I’m going to have to kick his ass this weekend.”
