Moussa Sissoko: I joined Tottenham for Champions League football and want to add ‘power and strength’ to Spurs

MOUSSA SISSOKO has insisted he wants to bring ‘power and strength’ to help Tottenham in the Champions League.

Sissoko, 27, joined Spurs in a £30million move from Championship side Newcastle on transfer deadline day.

And the French midfielder said he joined the club to play Champions League football this season.

He said: “It has been a long time that I want to contest the Champions League. And this is the reason why I decided to join this big club.

Sissoko played for France in Euro 2016, who reached the final, and claimed he is still far from reaching his best.

"I can't tell you a date at which I will be at my peak level, but I am better and better with every game.

"I will work in training to be at 100 per cent as soon as possible."

"My power and my strength. I have a lot of energy. Everyone knows I like going forward, so maybe it is something I can add."
