NICKLAS BENDTNER is still playing football… and he’s banging in the goals for Norwegian giants Rosenborg in the 2017-18 season.
The former Arsenal star, only 29, has become something of a forgotten man on these shores.
Following seven seasons at the Gunners – where Bendtner mustered just 24 goals in 108 Premier League games – the Dane spent two seasons in Germany.
Turning out for Bundesliga giants Wolfsburg, the former Gunner scored just THREE goals in two seasons.
Bendtner spent most of last season at Nottingham Forest before he joined Norwegian outfit Rosenborg in March.
While he has all but disappeared from our radars in England, Bendtner is arguably in the form of his life.
So far in 2017-18, the Danish international has scored 14 goals in just 22 games as Rosenborg has stormed nine points clear at the top of the Tippeligaen.
Bendtner sits behind only 15-goal forward Ohi Omoijuanfo in the top scorer standings in Norway.

So strong has his form been, he even earned a recall to the Denmark first-team squad.
The former Arsenal man hadn't played for the Danes since 2015, but made an appearance in the 4-0 thumping of Poland in the World Cup qualifier earlier this month.
On his return, Bendtner revealed he was overcome with emotion, saying: “Of course, the reception I received when I entered was very touching. It was amazing.
"It is very rare that I feel anything in the body. But I got upset when I ran into the pitch.
"It could not have been more perfect for me than to come back and play in the Park in front of the Danish fans, which means insanely a lot.
“There is no doubt that I have the qualities to play for the national team again.
“I want to play all matches and it will not change.”
Bendtner is only going from strength to strength too... having scored four goals in his last two games.
How long will it be until he is attracting the interest of Europe's top clubs once more?
