Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban look loved up on the red carpet as they join the Backstreet Boys and Lionel Richie at the CMT Artist of the Year

NICOLE Kidman and Keith Urban melted hearts with a loved-up display at the CMT Artist of the Year Awards.

The stunning couple, who married in 2006, proved beyond a doubt their romance was still strong as they nuzzled their noses together and held onto each other on the Red Carpet.

Nicole, 50, looked glamorous in a baby pink velvet gown as she turned up to support her musician hubby at the bash in Nashville.

She oozed elegance in the long-sleeved outfit, which had a splash of sexiness with a split up the side and ruffled detail highlighting her toned tum.

The Hours actress left her hair in loose waves flowing over her shoulders and finished off her look with sleek silver sandals.

Country singer Keith didn’t let her down in the style stakes either, plumping for a smart black suit with matching shirt.

The lovebirds made sure to hold their hands tight as they posed for photographers before Keith pulled Nicole close for a sweet portrait shot.

The Hollywood star then packed on the affection by wrapping her arm around his shoulder and her face in a huge beaming smile.

Yet the arrival of crooner Lionel Richie and pop band The Backstreet Boys caused a stir, and the parents were happy to pose for a group shot with the Hello singer and singer-songwriter Common.

Nicole and Keith were enjoying a night out away from their two daughters together, Faith Margaret and Sunday Rose.

Nicole also has two adopted children – Connor and Isabella Jane Cruise – from her marriage to Hollywood icon, Tom Cruise.

It was an exciting night for Keith, who was announced in the shortlist for the top honour of Entertainer of the Year, as well as making three other categories.

He will battle it out against Garth Brooks, Eric Church and Chris Stapleton.

Miranda Lambert is tipped for a big win after she secured nominations in five categories.

The 2017 CMAs will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 8.
