Old firm derby: Celtic smash bitter rivals Rangers 5-1 as Dembele becomes first Old firm hat-trick scorer in 50 years

THE Old Firm derby is back.

Celtic host Rangers in the Scottish Premier League for the first time in four years at Celtic Park.

Here’s what the bosses had to say…

Rangers boss Mark Warburton said: “A lot made of Joey Barton, but we have a number of players of that quality in the dressing room.

“As players you have to relish this environment.

“You have to be focused and let the head rule the heart.”

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers said: “It’s a big disappointment when you don’t have Leigh’s qualities.

“But there is no need for us to take that risk.

“He might only be out for seven days but we didn’t want to take the risk when we didn’t need to.

“You need to be aggressive that was my message they have confidence in the way they are playing.”
