PEP GUARDIOLA launches his Euro assault tonight hoping to secure the eternal love of Manchester City supporters.
And he sees no reason not to chase both Premier League and Champions League glory this season.
Guardiola said: “When I start the season I never say I will win the Premier League or if not I will win the Champions League. But it is how I will be judged.”

Borussia Monchengladbach arrive at the Etihad tonight as City’s first opponents in Group C.
It may be four years since an English club reached the final but Guardiola sees no reason why City should not go all the way — knowing success would see his name forever worshipped at the Etihad.
He said: “Manchester United won the Premier League and arrived in the final of the Champions League against Barcelona twice and against Chelsea, so why not? Why can’t you win today and win in three days?

“I’d like to know why. Why should we not try to win the games?
“Maybe I will answer better when we arrive in February, March or April and the players have injuries.
“But after four Premier League games, why can you not compete every three days?”
And despite overseeing six straight wins this season, Guardiola has warned his players they still need to improve.
He added: “The way we have played up until now will not be good enough to win the title. We have to improve.”
Who are the main three Borussia Monchengladbach dangermen?
THORGAN HAZARD
YOUNGER brother of Chelsea star Eden is flourishing in the Bundesliga after leaving West London — where he never started.
The Belgian midfielder, 23, scored in the defeat at Freiburg on Saturday.
RAFFAEL
BRAZILIAN attacking midfielder has scored a goal in every other game since his move from Dynamo Kiev in 2013.
The 31-year-old netted in a 2-1 group stage victory over City in the CL last season.
CHRISTOPH KRAMER
MIDFIELDER who was famously elbowed out of 2014 World Cup final is Gladbach’s fulcrum.
The industrious German, 25, admitted he remembers nothing of the final after colliding with Ezequiel Garay.
