Playboy model April Summers nearly causes incredible pile-up at Giro d’Italia after drifting onto the road and into the path of the onrushing peloton
PLAYBOY model April Summers nearly caused an incredible pile-up at the Giro d’Italia after drifting onto the road and into the path of the onrushing peloton.
The British beauty, 28, nearly got caught up in unbelievable crash while cheering for the camera.
On the sidelines shouting and waving her arms, April edged perilously close to the charging cyclists, avoiding being hit by mere millimetres.
She told her 260,000 followers: “I’m so excited for #internapoli tomorrow! I know the gorgeous captain #Icardi will score great goals for us.”
And in another post she added: “Best of luck to my #Inter for tomorrow’s game #forza #Icardi.”
Summers, who is originally from London, lives in Sardinia where she gets her magnificent photoshoots done on the stunning beaches.
She was recruited to work for Playboy in 2011 and does most of her work on her travels and has been on the cover of issues all over the world.
And April does not even have a favourite English team, instead choosing to root for Inter after taking a shine to Icardi, 24, who has netted 26 goals in all competitions this season.
Last month she attempted to get Icardi into the Argentina national team for their World Cup qualifiers and became even more popular in Argentina and Italy as a result.
She was also invited as a special guest of the club to matches last season, including the Milan derby and their match with Cagliari.
