Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo flashes thumbs-up and signs autographs for young fans at training session
CRISTIANO RONALDO stopped to sign autographs for young fans during Monday’s training session with Portugal.
The Real Madrid superstar even flashed a thumbs-up for the camera as he worked up a sweat ahead of next week’s World Cup in Russia.
Ronaldo looked calm and relaxed as he laughed with teammates during the tough workout.
The former Manchester United man led his side to glory at Euro 2016.
And Ronaldo will be hoping he can crown his career with the greatest trophy of them all as Portugal prepare for their friendly against Algeria on Thursday.
Fresh from winning a third consecutive Champions League trophy, Ronaldo took time out of his session to greet young supporters watching from the sides.
And their wildest dreams came true when the ace signed shirts to top off an afternoon they will not forget for years to come.
Portugal are amongst the favourites to lift this summer’s cup, despite being drawn in the same group as Spain.
The other two teams they have to face are Morocco and Iran, meaning that on paper Portugal look good to reach the knockout stages.
A strong squad includes the likes of AC Milan’s Andre Silva, Sporting Lisbon’s William Carvalho and Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva, meaning Ronaldo will have plenty of support in his bid to lead Portugal to further international glory.
