LIVERPOOL babe Harry Wilson is wanted on loan by old-boy Steven Gerrard at Rangers.

The new Gers boss saw Welsh wizard Wilson’s progress in the Under-23 side before he went to Hull.

The 21-year-old may be allowed out again for game time by manager Jurgen Klopp — and Gerrard has asked to take him to Ibrox.

Rangers are in European action during the summer but Wilson may be needed by Klopp for pre-season tour duty.

The winger is also fancied by Huddersfield, Aston Villa and Leeds.

Liverpool want a loan fee of £250,000 plus penalties if Wilson does not play enough games.

Rangers are looking to make big changes under Gerrard’s leadership.

They have already signed three players, with on-loan Brighton winger Jamie Murphy the latest to join after Burnley’s Scott Arfield and former Ger Allan McGregor.

There could yet be more arrivals with Liverpool links too after Dominic Solanke was tipped for a loan.

Anfield favourites Lucas Leiva and Martin Skrtel have also been tipped to join Gerrard as his new club, as has Fernando Torres after he bowed out of Atletico Madrid following their Europa League victory earlier this week.
