RB Leipzig sensationally beat European giants to the signing of Nottingham Forest wonderkid Oliver Burke
BUNDESLIGA side Red Bull Leipzig have sensationally beaten rivals Bayern Munich to land Nottingham Forest wonderkid Oliver Burke.
The 19-year-old has been attracting interest from European giants including Arsenal and Manchester United but RB Leipzig have secured a £15million deal to land the attacking midfielder – making him the most expensive Scottish player ever.
It is a massive coup for the side that are playing top flight football for the first time in their history this season.
Burke, who has two Scottish caps to his name, has been in sensational form at Forest this season scoring four times in four starts.
He is predicted to have a bright future in the game after bursting onto the scene last campaign but many expected him to sign for a top European side before deadline day on Wednesday.

However Leipzig, who have mega-rich owners, have managed to lure the talent to Germany.
Just 24 hours before penning a deal with RB Leipzig, Burke had scored the third goal in Nottingham Forest’s 3-1 victory over Leeds United.
Burke is thought to be keen on playing first team football which he thinks he will achieve at RB Leipzig.
He has been likened to Gareth Bale with his ability to glide passed players.
RB Leipzig were founded in 2009 where they played in the fifth tier of German football but achieved three promotions in five years to rise up the leagues.
