Real Madrid: Jurgen Klopp odds of replacing Zinedine Zidane slashed as he becomes top target

JURGEN KLOPP has become Real Madrid’s number one target since Zinedine Zidane announced his shock departure from Real Madrid yesterday.

The Liverpool manager only recently suffered a 3-1 defeat to Madrid and now he is being pursued to take over at the Bernabeu.

Sun Bets have slashed the German’s odds to 12/1 as there continues to be a number of names still in the hat.

Oddschecker confirmed that 12% of all bets on the next Real Madrid boss have been placed on Klopp making the move to Spain today.

Mauricio Pochettino is leading the market at 5/4 ahead of his former North London rival Arsene Wenger.

Guti is next line and he could become first team boss after being in charge of the Real Madrid B side.

Antonio Conte’s days at Chelsea appear to be numbered and he could make the switch to the Spanish capital.

Whoever takes the role has big shoes to fill, after Zidane walked away just days after winning his third consecutive Champions League title.

“It would be a disaster for the Reds if they lose their manager just days after losing to Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

“Klopp’s odds could continue to tumble if Madrid maintain their interest and step up their pursuit.”
