Real Madrid poised to sign Neymar who ‘has asked to sit down and negotiate PSG departure’
NEYMAR has “asked to sit down and negotiate his departure” from Paris Saint-Germain and force a move to Real Madrid.
According to reports in Spain, the Brazilian superstar, 26, is hoping to become Los Blancos’ next Galactico.
It would be an even more stunning move than the £198million world record switch he made last year from Barcelona to PSG.
And given Neymar’s status as a former star at Real Madrid’s fierce rivals Barcelona, it sets him up for the sort of treatment the likes of Luis Figo received in the 2000s, when he had a pig’s head thrown at him during his first El Clasico at Real.
Neymar Jr’s father – Neymar Sr – is the driving force behind the switch, according to Marca, while he does not get on with his Argentinian team-mates Angel Di Maria, Javier Pastore and Giovanni Lo Celso.
According to Le Parisien, he has told PSG team-mates that if he wins the World Cup, he will not go back to Paris.

The bombshell is sure to throw a spotlight on PSG’s possible sanction they face if they fail in their bid to convince Uefa they have not breached Financial Fair Play.
Reports in France have suggested that the Qatari-owned club are going to be struck with a penalty if they are found to have breached FFP.
And that all stems from the purchases of Neymar, completed last summer and the obligatory £162m payment for Kylian Mbappe, who has spent this season on loan from Monaco, with a permanent move set to be finalised in July.
It raises serious question marks over PSG’s project of bringing in two of the world’s best players, especially if it all falls apart within a year of being hatched.
Marca have also reported that the former Santos star regrets joining a league as uncompetitive as Ligue 1, where Unai Emery’s side won the championship at a canter, currently 17 points ahead of Lyon in second with two games to go.
The player himself is currently fighting to be fit for the World Cup, where he is expected to start for Brazil, having had surgery on a broken metatarsal back in February.
And he has been pushed hard in training, as he posted on Instagram a few days ago, sprawled out on a pitch after a tough training session.
