OLYMPIC swimmer Ryan Lochte may have been robbed at gunpoint in Rio but at least he has stunning Kayla Rae Reid to comfort him.

The  American sportstar’s  girlfriend is a former Playboy Playmate and a fan of posing in tiny bikinis for her whopping 60,000 Instagram followers.

She has been in Brazil to support the gold medallist, 32, who fell foul of Rio’s armed robbers when he and his teammates had their wallets stolen.

After the incident, Lochte said: “I was with a couple swimmers, we got pulled over in our taxi and these guys came out with a badge, a police badge.

“No lights, no nothing, just a police badge. They pulled us over. They pulled out their guns.

“They told the other swimmers to get down on the ground, they got down on the ground. I refused.

“I was like ‘We didn’t do anything wrong so I’m not getting down on the ground.’”

At this point, Lochte said one of the men pulled out his gun, cocked it and raised it to his forehead.

He continued: “He said ‘get down’. I put my hands up. I was like “whatever”.

“He took our money, he took my wallet.”

Lochte met Kayla on Tinder and the 25-year-old is even a fan of his wacky blue rinse.

On his birthday earlier this month she posted a snap of the couple captioned #silverfox.

Ryan is clearly a Loch-y man.
