Riyad Mahrez will reportedly leave Leicester this summer after two transfer windows failing to get move away

RIYAD MAHREZ will leave Leicester City at the end of the season, according to reports.

The 27-year-old saw the King Power exit blocked for the last two transfer windows and Rob Tanner from the Leicester Mercury reckons it will be third time lucky this summer.

Roma failed to match the Foxes valuation for the Algerian international last year.

The big disappointment was when Manchester City were foiled with a late swoop for the winger in January.

City tabled a £50million plus £15m-rated Patrick Roberts, but the Leicester top brass felt he was worth a lot more and had not time to find an adequate replacement.

There were even reports Barcelona were monitoring the 2016 PFA Player of the Year.

Mahrez went Awol after his move to the Etihad collapsed but has been reintegrated back into Claude Puel’s squad scoring two goals in six games.

City are expected to revive their interest, despite being accused of trying to sign the winger as stop gap for Leroy Sane who missed three games due to injury.

Mahrez moved to Leicester from Le Havre in 2014 wants Champions League football next season.

So that limits his options with Manchester City in England his only realistic escape route.

Leicester are also expected to part company with Leonardo Ulloa, Andy King, Ahmed Musa and Bartosz Kaputska who are all surplus to requirements.
