Robbie Keane has fans drooling over insane skills video before LA Galaxy match

ROBBIE KEANE showed he still has the skills that made him score over 100 Premier League goals with an insane pre-match warm-up video.

Posted on the Irishman’s Instagram after his LA Galaxy side drew 1-1 with Seattle Sounders on Sunday, the six second clip sees him juggle the ball on his chest, then knee it onto the back of his neck before flicking it back over his head with his heel and volleying it on.

The former Spurs, Coventry, Liverpool and Wolves striker claims he does this every game in the war-up, the caption reading: “My usual pre game warm up, I’ve been doing it for years…. Not superstitious at all.”

Keane, who has become one of the most popular players in North America after a prolific return of over 100 goals in just over 150 games in all competitions since joining Galaxy in 2011, went on to nearly win the game for his side.

After Sounders opened the scoring, former West Ham youth striker Sebastian Lletget scored the equaliser – but Dubliner Keane saw an audacious lob cleared off the line in the 91st minute.

But Keane has not had it all his own way since arriving in the US, having to be rescued from the side of the road by a passer-by when his car broke down on the way back from training last week.

And after an 18-year international career for the Republic of Ireland during which time he has become the all-time leading scorer with a staggering 46 more goals than second highest scorer Niall Quinn, boss Martin O’Neill has hinted he will announce his retirement from the national side in the near future.
