VIKING NIGHTMARE Robert Helenius wants heavyweight drug cheats banished to their own rogue league to clean up the sport’s flagship division.
WBC boss Deontay Wilder has lost two big-money fights against Alexander Povetkin and, for his scheduled November 4 show, Luis ‘King Kong’ Ortiz.
Even Dillian Whyte – who he fights on Saturday night on the Anthony Joshua show – has been suspended for using a controlled substance and had to re-establish his boxing reputation.
Helenius wants a world title shot – if he gets through White – but he knows scheduled fights could still turn to dust if greedy fighters insist on doping their way to glory.
The giant Finland fighter said: “I know it’s there and a problem but I try not to think about it because it is stupid.
“Cheaters will be cheaters, maybe they should have their own category in boxing.
“I have never understood how they do it.
“I understand why they do it – because they want to win and make money – but for me it is not honest and is not how a Viking prepares.”
HUMBLE HEAVYWEIGHT Anthony Joshua is the millionaire heavyweight who lives with his mum
The way Helenius, who won a controversial European title decision on points against Brit Dereck Chisora, prepares is as Nordic as it gets.
When he is not stalking wild predators in Finland’s wild forestry, he is at his remote home trying to control three little terrors.
And the softly-spoken powerhouse insists he will never resort to the trash talk or pantomime villainy some of his heavyweight rivals use to sell tickets.

He said: “If you are a good enough boxing then the interest will be there.
“I am not here to flap my gums, I am an entertainer in the ring only. Outside of the ring I am just me.
“I have three children and like out in the forest hunting and fishing, a proper Viking.”
