ROMA have agreed a fee with Ajax for the signing of Dutch wonderkid Justin Kluivert, according to reports in Italy.
The exciting winger, 19, had been on the radar of several Premier League giants — with Tottenham and Manchester United monitoring his progress.
But Corriere dello Sport claim a deal for him to join Roma is close to being finalised and he is expected in the Italian capital this weekend.
Various reports suggest the fee agreed between the two clubs is around £15.8million.
This deal is the latest example of notorious former Sevilla director Monchi weaving his magic on the transfer market.
Last summer, he received a lot of stick for allowing the likes of Mohamed Salah and Antonio Rudiger to leave for relatively cheap, with many labelling the Giallorossi a “supermarket”.

They signed Croatian wonderkid Ante Coric, who had previously been on Barcelona’s radar, while another Premier League target in Bryan Cristante underwent a medical at the club yesterday.

He is the son of the former Barcelona striker Patrick, but is clearly not weighed down by the pressure and recently earned his first international cap.
