“So I’m back on it and I want to apologise to the people that felt offended but everything back under control and I’ll see you soon.”

The Portuguese Ballon d’Or holder wrote that his ban was “incomprehensible” and an “injustice”.

And Lukaku, who has enjoyed a stunning start to life in Old Trafford after his £75million move from Everton, appeared to aim a dig at Ronaldo.

But it was later revealed that Lukaku had been hacked.

More than a dozen images to “epmuusic” were posted, while Lukaku saw his profile picture and bio changed.

Images and links to a Snapchat page for “Matt Walker” were also added to Lukaku’s Instagram account.
