Romelu Lukaku says Belgium No 2 Thierry Henry uses PlayStation to mix with players and took two hours to correct their mistakes from Spain loss

ROMELU LUKAKU has revealed Thierry Henry is using PlayStation to get Belgium back to winning ways.

The Roberto Martinez era began in chaos last week when Belgium were outclassed by Spain and booed off.

But Lukaku reckoned assistant coach Henry had already made a big impact.

The Everton star said: “He’s really with us and isn’t distant. Sometimes he comes to drink tea or play PlayStation with us.

“He asks a lot, but that’s what we need. He’s good at communicating and makes himself heard.

“Concentration and effort are his staples. It’s a plus to have him with us. I can assure you we listen when he speaks.”

Henry joined up with ex-Everton gaffer Martinez last month after leaving a youth role at Arsenal because it clashed with his TV punditry duties.

The Frenchman has been working overtime since the Spain loss to sharpen up Lukaku, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Crystal Palace new boy Christian Benteke.

Lukaku said: “He took us to one side. He corrected my manner of getting away from markers.

“We stayed for a long time in front of the screen, and he pointed out our mistakes, corrected us. We listened carefully. It took nearly two hours, but it was great.”
