Royal Rumble 2018: WWE legend Ric Flair wins over-the-top-rope match… but all is not what it seems

RIC FLAIR made a triumphant return to win the Royal Rumble — but all is not what it seems.

The Nature Boy and 16-time world champ was back in the ring during the pay-per-view in Philadelphia.

And it was a victorious return as he entered last in the KFC-sponsored Rumble and saw off the likes of The Miz, Breezango and Goldust to earn the right to be Colonel Sanders.

Flair came out in a Colonel-themed robe and full wig, glasses and beard before eliminating The Miz and Rusev.

The title was previously held by Shawn Michaels.

And the WWE were quick to try and profit from the comical advert as T-Shirts with Flair as the Colonel on the front were available for pre-order straight away.

The triumphant appearance shows just how far Flair has come in a year after his spell in hospital last year.

The Nature Boy was reportedly in a critical condition after undergoing surgery for “severe abdominal pain” in August after being rushed to hospital.
