Ryder Cup 2016: Rory McIlroy gets abusive fan kicked off course after vile outburst

RORY McILROY got an abusive fan kicked off the course after he was subjected to an X-rated outburst.

The vile Team USA supporter apparently shouted for McIlroy to “suck a d***” and included a barb about his ex-fiancee Caroline Wozniacki.

The flashpoint came as McIlroy walked between the seventh green and eighth tee during his fourballs match.

It was then that McIlroy decided enough was enough, marching over to personally identify the fan and get him kicked out, saying: "Get him out of here."

The two came pretty much face-to-face before McIlroy eventually moved on after staring the man in the face.

USA Today report that stewards and authorities confirmed the offender would be removed from the Hazeltine course.

It did not appear to faze McIlroy too much, though, and he said it actually makes him play better.

He said: "It fueled me a lot. The more they shout at us the better we play. Hope they shout at us all day tomorrow."

Later, a fan heckled Henrik Stenson just as he was about to stroke a putt on the 11th hole, which he missed.

Stenson then appeared to look at the crowd as he reacted to the shot.

Winning captain from 2010 Colin Montgomerie said: "Things are getting very difficult out there."

McIlroy and playing partner Thomas Pieters have become prime targets for American hecklers - thanks in part to their outstanding play.

The Northern Irishman bowed before the crowd then celebrated wildly after winning his fourballs match on Friday evening.

And McIlroy's team-mate Rafa Cabrera-Bello admitted some of the fans were overstepping the mark in the hostile environment.

He said: "99.9 per cent of the crowd are fantastic. There is always a 0.1 per cent who don’t really understand the values we are playing and competing here for and they got offline."

American fans were already riled up after Danny Willett's  brother had an article mocking them published in a magazine.FACEBOOK-PROMO-SPORT
