Ryder Cup 2016: Zach Johnson and Brandt Snedeker sit with fans in first tee grandstand straight after matches

ZACH JOHNSON donned a Viking hat with ‘USA’ written on it as he and team-mate Brandt Snedeker sat with rowdy fans in the first tee grandstand.

The American duo crammed into the seats as the afternoon fourballs got underway.

And former Open champion Johnson seemed in great spirits despite losing his foursomes match with Jimmy Walker.

He cheered and pointed at his pals down below and Snedeker did likewise as the raucous supporters joined in.

Snedeker was a surprise choice to be dropped by captain Davis Love for the fourballs, the fourth session of the Ryder Cup at Hazeltine.

He putted superbly in a 3&2 foursomes win with Brooks Koepka over Henrik Stenson and Matt Fitzpatrick.

And it could come back to bite Love as Europe threaten to close USA's one-point advantage further ahead of tomorrow's singles.
