A SHOCKING video showing Darren Till going temporarily blind during his brutal weight cut for UFC Liverpool has been removed by the fighter and his sponsor Paddy Power.
The inside footage has been slammed after it chronicled the welterweight’s efforts to make the cut last week before his historic fight night.
Despite his extreme efforts, Till was still 3.5lbs out, but his showdown with Stephen Thompson still went ahead after the American agreed to move forward.
The 25-year-old Liverpublian weighed in again on Sunday and gave up 30 per cent of his fight fee to his opponent.
Till went on to defeat Thompson via a unanimous decision for the biggest win of his pro career.
Paddy Power and the star’s videographer tracked the MMA ace throughout his camp and fight week, including his weight cut on Friday and Saturday.
But the footage sparked a huge backlash as it revealed several scary moments.
The footage showed Till having to stop a treadmill session after losing his sight while another moment shows him being unable to stand up in the sauna and having to crawl through the door after one session.

That criticism even led to UFC making a statement on the matter, although they insisted that it is down to the athlete how they conduct their weight cuts.
It read: “The health and safety of the athletes competing in UFC is a top priority for the company.

“UFC provides detailed education to athletes on how to safely and properly manage weight and offers a full range of nutritional services at the UFC Performance Institute, at no cost, to help athletes determine a long-range plan to safely and properly make weight.
“Those athletes that notify us that they are experiencing difficulties with weight management are offered the appropriate assistance by our highly qualified team of professionals.
“Ultimately, it is the athletes’ choice whether or not to accept the resources UFC makes available to them.”
Many believe that punishments should be dished for those responsible in making Till undergo such a gruelling cut.
A head of Association of Boxing Commissions, Mike Mazzulli, has called for his team to be punished.
He told MMA Junkie: “They should suspend those corner people that tried to help him cut that kind of weight, first of all.
“They think it’s okay to do what they did to that kid? They’re going to get him killed. Right now, I am so upset at this whole industry.”
