Six Nations: England drop Jonathan Joseph for visit of Italy on Sunday with Elliot Daly set to move into outside centre spot and Ben Te’o set to partner him


JONATHAN JOSEPH has been dropped for England’s clash against Italy.

The 31-capped Bath centre scored a hat-trick against the Azzurri last season – but will play no part on Sunday at Twickenham.

It is likely that Eddie Jones will shift Wasps star Elliot Daly into Jospeh’s outside centre spot with super-sub Ben Te’o promoted to inside centre and Owen Farrell in at fly-half.

James Haskell is also pushing for a first start in this year’s Six Nations after making two appearances off the bench.
