Snooker legend Jimmy White reveals heartbreak after flat fire destroys all his possessions… except his CUE

SNOOKER ace Jimmy White said he was “gutted” after his home was destroyed by fire.

Fans’ favourite White, 54, posted a picture of police, firefighters and paramedics outside his flat in Surrey as smoke poured from the building.

The player – nicknamed The Whirlwind – said: “Fire at my flat this morning. Everything gone. Gutted. Cue was in car and most importantly no one hurt.”

He is not believed to have been at home when the fire broke out at his third-floor flat, as five engines from Surrey Fire and Rescue and London Fire Brigade were sent the scene.
