SOUTHAMPTON are tracking Barcelona forward Paco Alcacer, according to reports.
Alcacer, 24 moved to the Nou Camp in 2016 for £30million after hitting 29 goals for Valencia in two seasons at the Mestalla.
But his move to the Catalan giants has turned sour after failing to break the Messi, Suarez and Neymar attacking threesome.
But the Spaniard has been a good alternative for the La Liga champions scoring 15 goals in 50 appearances, with most of them coming from the bench.
Now the Mirror reckon Alacer has had enough of playing second fiddle with things getting even worse if Antoine Griezmann arrives from Atletico Madrid.
Saints boss Mark Hughes is looking to reshape his squad and last season’s lack of goals is something he needs to address.
