SOUTHAMPTON may not have a manager but they must surely hope to sustain the commendable results achieved in recent seasons first by Maurico Pochettino and then Ronald Koeman.
Both managers have moved on, Pochettino to Tottenham, and Koeman to Everton only on Monday.
Whoever takes over for 2016-17 has the Europa League to look forward to – and the Premier League’s TV cash windfall to bolster the side with some big signings.
Saints will hope to hang on to Italian striker Graziano Pelle, currently starring at Euro 2016, and Shane Long who is hoping to stir things up in France with the Republic of Ireland.
