DAVID VILLA has become the latest celebrity to put in an awkward performance on kids’ TV show Sesame Street.
The New York City FC star, 34, appeared alongside Cookie Monster and Rosita to take on a one-of-a-kind challenge.
Appearing as part of the show's 'Love To Learn' campaign, Villa was egged on by the famous puppets to take part in the dare.
The 97-cap Spain star had to do ten headed keepy-uppies in a row - after cheesily conversing with the show's stars, reminding Cookie Monster that his football 'is not a cookie, it's a soccer ball'.
Villa's prize - should he complete the challenge - is that his NYCFC side, alongside Frank Lampard - would become the official team of the Sesame Street stars.
Unfortunately for Villa, two attempts in and the Spaniard was struggling with the seemingly simple task.
However, with some encouragement from Rosita and the Cookie Monster, Villa pulled off the counting feat.
The trio then celebrate with a cookie... What else? Villa gets in the spirit challenging the dark blue monster to a cookie-eating showdown.
