Julen Lopetegui’s squad arrived to Russia in style after they decided to ditch the team tracksuits.

Every player was wearing a navy suit, a blue polka dot tie and black monk shoes.

Before they boarded the flight, the team were greeted by the King of Spain at the Las Rozas de Madrid.

According to Marca, King Felipe VI told the team: “I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to see you before you embarked and I wanted to come and give you a hug before Russia.

“Everyone is afraid of facing the Spanish national team.”

Lopetegui’s side will be looking to end their World Cup preparations with a win when they face Tunisia on Saturday.

They will then face a tough test in the group stages against Portugal, Morocco and Iran.

The 2010 champions will be looking to regain the title this summer after a disastrous campaign four years ago.
