DESPITE a stuttering start to the season, Lewis Hamilton arrives in Barcelona as F1 World Championship leader.

Hamilton picked up his first win of the season in Azerbaijan after Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas suffered a puncture on the penultimate lap.

That came just after the Brit had leapfrogged Sebastian Vettel, capitalising on the German’s botched attempt to overtake Bottas.

Mercedes’ driver Hamilton is now four points ahead of Vettel despite the Ferrari man winning two of four races so far.

When is the F1 Spanish Grand Prix?

The Spanish Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, May 13.

It will start at 2.10pm.

Before that, practice one will be held on Friday, May 11 at 10am, followed by practice two at 2pm.

Practice three will take place on Saturday, May 12 at 11am before the all-important qualifying at 2pm.

What TV channel is the Spanish Grand Prix on and can I live stream it?

The Spanish Grand Prix will be live on Sky Sports F1.

Coverage of the race will begin at 12.30pm on Sunday, May 13.

On Friday, practice one will be on air from 9.30am and practice two from 1.45pm.

Practice three will be live from 10.30am on Saturday and qualifying from 1pm.
